I love travelling for weddings! Those outside of the Ottawa area (60+ km) a travel fee is applied. I would also love to photograph your wedding if it’s elsewhere in Canada, with reasonable travel rates! Destination weddings in other countries are also something I look forward to capturing. A first look is a staged moment where the couple gets to see each other before they walk down the aisle.

First looks are a private and intimate moment that provides special images between just the two of you and helps ease your nerves before the ceremony.

A first look doesn’t have to happen right before you walk down the aisle, many couples choose to do a first look a few hours before the ceremony. Doing it this way gives you time to do your family/wedding party before all the other guests arrive. which means that you don’t have to spend as much time away from your party!

Depending on the month you’re getting married, it’s important to book a year or more in advance. I limit the number of weddings that I take on each year to assure that I’ll have time to focus on each wedding and my family. Please don’t hesitate to reach out even if your wedding is less than 1 year away.

Yes, please! I love photographing elopements and intimate weddings. I find they showcase the love between two people even more than grand weddings.

Yes please, for any wedding over 6 hours you need to provide me and my assistant/second shooter a meal. Please sit us at a table by ourselves in the same area as everyone else or with your guests. It is also beneficial for everyone if we’re served at the same time or right after the couple. This way we have time to eat, don’t miss anything and our food doesn’t get cold, or taken away by staff.

I will be! Unless something so terribly horrible happens and then I will find a replacement professional photographer for your day. If you choose to have a second shooter in your package, most of the time my husband Louis is my trusted second, I do also have a small list of amazing laddies and gentlemen them that I pick from based on availability on your wedding date.

I have a few amazing second shooters that I pull from depending on availability. Along with some amazing ladies my husband also second shoots with me from time to time.
